Kansas City April 11, 2013

ActiveDocs' world-leading document automation product ActiveDocs Opus is taking the industry into the era of the Microsoft® 2013 suite of products. With the ability to utilize state-of-the-art platforms, ActiveDocs has redefined its own technology leadership in the field of document automation and template management. ActiveDocs Limited announced today that full support of Microsoft SharePoint 2013, Microsoft Office 2013, Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows 8, and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 has been extended across its product offerings.

“As a Microsoft Partner with Gold competency in Application Development, ActiveDocs is among the first to see Microsoft's latest products,” said ActiveDocs VP for Product Development, Glenn Cameron. “The pace of technology change is increasing. It is paramount that our customers can benefit from the technology that can provide them with the greatest competitive advantage right now. ActiveDocs Opus works with cutting-edge technologies to make document automation and template management more functional and yet easier than ever to deploy.”

Users of SharePoint 2013 can easily access document generation through the ActiveDocs Opus SharePoint 2013 Module regardless of whether they use a desktop or mobile device, whether they connect to on-premise or cloud solutions. Office 2013 makes it even easier for Template Designers to create and maintain Templates. IT administrators will notice the improved performance and management capabilities of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012. Compatibility with Windows 8 takes the user experience to a whole new level.

“ActiveDocs Opus is the mission-critical component of business document processes with tens of thousands of users worldwide. We wanted to take advantage of the latest technologies and at the same time we had to make sure that our customers will have a smooth experience once they upgrade their platforms. After months of thorough testing we are finally satisfied,” said Chris Rust, Principal Product Architect of ActiveDocs. “We have looked forward to the new Microsoft products, mobile and cloud initiatives with excitement. Their realization in the 2013 suite of Microsoft products allows us to redefine what it means to be at the technological forefront of document automation.”
