ActiveDocs Limited announced today that the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (OBWC), the second largest provider of workers’ compensation insurance in the United States, is to implement ActiveDocs Opus (Raptor version) to achieve efficiencies and compliance in communication with its clients. Several hundred document templates will be used to speed up the communication processes with more than 288,000 employers across the state of Ohio.

Catherine Larsen, VP Sales for North America, said: “The fact that the bureau chose to deploy the ActiveDocs Opus suite as its solution for client communication is a testimony to the quality of the product. Large insurers require flexibility, scalability and ease of maintenance. ActiveDocs Opus is a perfect fit as it builds on our experience of working with some of the largest insurers world-wide.”

OBWC will initially use ActiveDocs Opus to generate communications in the Public Employment Risk Reduction Program that requires the bureau to issue notices and communicate with thousands of employers. For example, every time an inspection is performed by a Compliance Safety and Health Officer, the outcome needs to be presented and stakeholders need to be notified of the findings in a timely manner. ActiveDocs Opus makes it simple to produce such documents and to enforce compliance with communication policies and procedures.
