ActiveDocs Design Approval

Enforce approval of Design Components. Strenghten your organizational defenses.

There are situations where content-carrying Design Components (Templates and Snippets) should not be published until they have been checked and approved.

Our Design Component Approval process supports the requirement for pre-publication validation of these Design Components by allowing you to specify a group of users as Design Component Approvers.

Design Component Approval can be configured to send these users an email when Design Components requiring their Approval are created or modified in ActiveDocs Designer.

When a Design Component Approver opens the Content Manager, they are presented with an alert about the Design Components awaiting their attention for Approval.

Depending on the Approval configuration, one or more of the Approvers must signify their approval of the Design Component before it can be published.

Design Component Approval integrates with the Version Control module's Publishing and Deferred Publishing capabilities.

To complement Design Component Approval, ActiveDocs supports a Document Approval process. This ensures that created documents can be approved before they are released for delivery and other post-creation processing.
