A multi-national uses the ActiveDocs solution for generating their sales-ready marketing documents. The in-house sales representative determines which vertical market their client most likely falls into. They then call up the ActiveDocs Wizard, which will generate a lead sheet populated with industry-specific questions for the sales representative to ask that particular client. The Wizard will also produce a list of regional referenceable accounts in that same vertical. The questions on this lead-sheet come from a database of information which the company's marketing team have put together to ensure that the most relevant questions are asked of each client. This information is stored in a separate company database that the ActiveDocs software interrogates in order to generate the tick-box client questionnaire.

After the sales call, the representatives can run through another Wizard session and update the system by selecting the relevant topics as discussed with the client, or even adding unique subject matter that their contact has told them. While the sales call is handled as a spontaneous and fluid conversation, the document created by the ActiveDocs Wizard ensures that the right questions are asked, and only the required and relevant information is covered. It streamlines the whole process. This collected data contains all the relevant information that the representative has gleaned from the conversation. Once it is forwarded to the sales force, it ensures that they are fully informed and that all the prospect's needs have been quantified, and can now be addressed.

ActiveDocs can also generate a proposal document for the client which uses the questions as a resource and restates to the client what was discussed on the telephone, and confirms that they will be contacted by a company representative. While a few of our clients produce this proposal document themselves, the majority (90%) prefer to use ActiveDocs software to perform this task.
