Print
ActiveDocs Opus Composition Server's Delivery Manager recognises your existing printers and allows you to build queues that use those printers. Documents can be sent to print queues by users and via Automated Mode. Queues can be configured for immediate or timed action.
Email
ActiveDocs Opus Composition Server's Delivery Manager recognises your existing email services and allows you to build queues that use those services. Documents can be sent to email queues by users and via Automated Mode. Queues can be configured for immediate or timed action.
Web Services
Completed documents can be sent automatically to a nominated Web Service, from where they can also be retrieved.
Using a Web Service as a delivery system or document repository opens up exciting new possibilities for post-creation handling of documents. ActiveDocs provides a specification for the Web Service interface that allows the document bytes, metadata, and Answers to be sent.
The Web Service, developed by the customer or a third-party integrator, would typically interact with another application such as a delivery system, Document Management System, storage system, or workflow product, using the document information to make intelligent decisions about the onward handling of the document.
Fax
ActiveDocs Opus Composition Server's Delivery Manager uses a local fax service on the server and allows you to build queues that use that service. Documents can be sent to fax queues by users and via Automated Mode. Queues can be configured for immediate or timed action.
To create faxes, Neevia® DocCreator is required on the server. Neevia® DocCreator may also be used to convert your output files to PDF and TIFF formats - our Document Formats page has more details.
