ActiveDocs Opus Template Usage

User-Driven Mode

ActiveDocs Opus Templates are made available to Document Creators from the central repository managed by ActiveDocs Opus Content Manager to ensure that your Document Creators are always using the right template, right now.

The ActiveDocs Opus Document Wizard automatically guides the Document Creator through the process of acquiring the information (Answers) required by the Template to create the document. The Document Wizard can re-use Answers from previous documents if required.

Document Creators can select and run their Templates via the Document Wizard from the browser-based ActiveDocs Opus Express Wizard. The Document Wizard can be also be invoked from another software application via a choice of Templates or using predetermined task-based Templates, with or without some of the Answers pre-populated.

Automated Mode

ActiveDocs Opus Templates can also be used for document creation by other software applications. Automated Mode can use the same Templates, from the same central repository managed by ActiveDocs Opus Content Manager, as used for User-Driven Mode document creation.
