ActiveDocs Limited today announced that Fugro Roadware, a leading global supplier of customized roadway infrastructure data collection solutions, and a member of Fugro group of companies with over 12,500 employees worldwide, has implemented ActiveDocs ATLAS™ for creation of compliant contractual and sales documents integrated with Salesforce.com as part of Fugro’s global cloud-only IT strategy.

Michele Myers, ActiveDocs SVP Sales, North America said: “The landscape of corporate IT is changing and many organizations pursue a cloud-only IT strategy in which all existing systems are being replaced by cloud alternatives, and no new on-premise solutions are being purchased. Fugro has chosen the no-compromise cloud-based ActiveDocs ATLAS™ service for the richness of its features and the exceptional integration capability that allows Fugro to source data from Salesforce.com directly, and use it to automate their documents. This deployment is an example of where the technology is headed, and shows how ActiveDocs ATLAS™ enables the forward thinking organizations to stay ahead of the curve.”

Because of the nature of company’s operations, Fugro’s workforce is highly mobile. Cloud-based solutions have become a necessity for staff who work from a different location, and possibly a different network, every day. It used to be difficult and impractical to create accurate documents without access to desktop computers in the office, but ActiveDocs ATLAS™ makes it possible to create complex documents on-the-go. Users can now click on one of the ActiveDocs ATLAS™ document creation buttons in Salesforce.com, step through a simple questionnaire, and generate the document within minutes. The integration with Salesforce.com eliminates the errors that could happen when data is copied-and-pasted from Salesforce.com into documents.

Fugro’s ActiveDocs ATLAS™ cloud solution utilizes the underlying infrastructure of Amazon Web Services that has been selected for superior performance, features, and proven track-records in delivery of web-scale cloud applications.
