Web ServiceActiveDocs Opus Composition Server's Web Service plays a key role, enabling connectivity between ActiveDocs Opus and your business systems. The Solutions Studio Web Services facilitate the use of a range of methods for providing simple and effective document creation and delivery management.

A number of the methods utilize ActiveDocs Job XML, a file format that delivers instructions to enable a document to be generated. It defines the document(s) to be created and may include the data, which template(s) to use, delivery rules and other business logic. Solutions Studio may also be used for consuming other business system web services.
Job XML Job XML is a file format that delivers instructions to enable a document to be generated. These include details such as the date, which printer to send the document to and what format the document needs to be in. This means that ActiveDocs Opus Composition Server can handle large batch jobs, with thousands of documents being able to be generated at one time.
