ActiveDocs, the confident choice of large companies for document automation success, announced today that Scania Finance Great Britain has implemented ActiveDocs for automated generation of hire, lease, and hire purchase agreements for its operations in the United Kingdom. The deployment followed a thorough evaluation process, including a Proof-of-Concept (POC) project to verify that ActiveDocs was fit for purpose in Scania’s own environment. This helped ensure that Scania got the solution deployment right the first time.
Samuel Ricketts, ActiveDocs Sales Director, Europe, said: “Scania used a large sample of documents as part of the POC to test that ActiveDocs is able to meet all the requirements – relating to both template functionality and integration capability. Working closely with the ActiveDocs’ London-based team, Scania made the project a success and proceeded to a live pilot deployment within days after the conclusion of the POC project.”
Scania uses data for generation of documents from its CRM, accounting system, and primary leasing system. This ensures 100% fidelity between the data in the systems of record and the contractual documents, eliminating any copy and paste errors. ActiveDocs processes the source data to enable production of easy-to-understand, well-structured documents.
Scania’s hire and lease documentation consists of a number of documents that form a packet. ActiveDocs enables Scania to build the packets automatically, following the business rules driven by the parameters of the deal, and eliminating the process of repeated data entry.
To complete these business-critical processes, ActiveDocs provides approval workflows, which enable Scania’s staff to review the content of document packets where needed. ActiveDocs can deliver the packets via email or print, to align with the Scania client’s preference.
Scania has now started to roll out the system internationally for its operations in Ireland.
