ActiveDocs Limited announced today that a group of the three largest healthcare providers in New Zealand - Auckland District Health Board, Waitemata District Health Board, and Counties Manukau Health - have implemented ActiveDocs Opus as the unified platform for automated creation of HR documents under the umbrella of their healthAlliance joint venture. Collectively, the three healthcare providers are the largest non-governmental employer in New Zealand. The solution builds on the expertise ActiveDocs has in providing large-scale, cloud-integrated document automation solutions for HR.

“The focus in healthcare is on efficiency and reduction of unnecessary bureaucracy, so more funding can be utilized in the actual provision of medical services,” said ActiveDocs VP for Business Development - New Zealand, Catherine Larsen. “In order to achieve this goal, the health boards decided to create a unified platform for HR document creation powered by a state-of-the-art document automation solution to instigate the efficiencies that will make it possible to funnel more funding into patient care. HealthAlliance has become a model of how healthcare should be run in the 21st century, where the lean and efficient services organization supports medical professionals who deliver the cutting edge patient care.”

HealthAlliance services over 22,000 healthcare employees in more than a hundred locations. The high number of employees and the geographical spread required that many onboarding processes use the Oracle Taleo Cloud Service. ActiveDocs Opus integrates seamlessly with Taleo to utilize Taleo data at the time of document creation, making the process simple and efficient for the end user.

Glenn Cameron, ActiveDocs VP for Product Development, noted: “Integration with Taleo at healthAlliance is a great showcase of how well ActiveDocs Opus works within the cloud. It has always been our priority to stay at the forefront of technology development in this area. Organizations have the choice of on-premise and cloud based solutions and many will use both at the same time. We architected the product so our customers don't have to think about whether their automation solution works with applications in the cloud or on-premise. ActiveDocs Opus supports both to give our customers an unparalleled level of flexibility and, most importantly, the assurance that their document generation solution will support them regardless of the software architecture or infrastructure they decide to rely on in the future.”
