ActiveDocs Limited, a world leader in the provision of document automation applications, today released a case study covering the implementation of ActiveDocs Opus by the Finnish Centre for Pensions (Eläketurvakeskus, or ETK), a statutory co-operation body, expert and producer of joint services for the development and implementation of earnings-related pension provision in Finland. ETK deployed ActiveDocs Opus as a part of a seamlessly integrated line-of-business solution together with OpenText eDocs and ETK’s own web portal.

Hanna Holopainen, Project Manager at ETK, said: “ETK carried out a short PoC evaluating the product and the suitability to our architecture. Since the PoC we have been very happy with the ActiveDocs support. We now have an overall solution where external processes, ActiveDocs Opus, our Portal and Document Management are integrated. ActiveDocs fills well the role as the document creation, editing and template design & management solution.”

The exceptional integration capabilities of ActiveDocs Opus made it possible to enable easy access to document automation. In addition, 97.5% reduction in templates and management effort was achieved through using ActiveDocs Opus Template Management and Template Design modules.

Nick Chivers, ActiveDocs Sales Director Europe said: “We appreciate ETK’s assistance with the creation of this case study. It has been a pleasure to work with the team at the Finnish Centre for Pensions and ActiveDocs’ European partner Digia, and to see ActiveDocs Opus document automation solution creating efficiencies at another governmental organization in Europe.”
