ActiveDocs releases ABB case study

Berlin December 5, 2013

ActiveDocs Limited, a world leader in the provision of document automation applications, today released a case study covering the implementation of ActiveDocs Opus by ABB, one of largest engineering companies with 145,000 employees worldwide. The ActiveDocs Opus solution was deployed in 90 countries, in multiple languages, for generation of complex high-value Tender Response documents.

Nick Chivers, ActiveDocs European Sales Director, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with ABB on the Common Configurator Platform project. The case study describes in detail how ActiveDocs Opus was deployed globally at ABB, and configured to generate high-complexity tender response documents. RFP or RFI responses used to be thought of as impossible to automate - the automation requires a highly sophisticated rules engine, exceptional integration capabilities, and near-universal data source connectivity. ActiveDocs Opus has them all. In addition, the setup and management of the system can still remain in hands of business users.”
