Bayer Team receives Gold Award for implementation of ActiveDocs Opus in Law and Compliance

Berlin December 19, 2013

Bayer Healthcare’s Law and Compliance team received the Bayer Business Services Gold Award, category "Quality", for their implementation of ActiveDocs Opus. The award recognizes the achievements in the field of document compliance that were made possible through utilization of ActiveDocs Opus Eclipse and ActiveDocs Opus SharePoint Module. The Law and Compliance team won the award in the global competition of Bayer’s Business Services groups.

Nick Chivers, ActiveDocs Sales Director, Europe said: “Bayer’s Law and Compliance Document Assembly project has been at the centre of attention since its go-live day in December 2012. The improvements in compliance, and the ease of creation of complex multi-legislation contracts soon became noticed by the global Business Services community. The solution was selected for the award from amongst many competing solutions by the jury of Business Services Experts at Bayer that recognized the thorough implementation effort by the Law and Compliance team, the increased process efficiency, and the superior quality of the ActiveDocs Opus document automation and compliance product.”

Since its implementation, the Law and Compliance solution has been presented at multiple conferences, articles were published, and detailed implementation guidelines have been created. This independent evaluation places ActiveDocs Opus at the frontline of research and development in the field of document assembly and compliance, and proves its ability to deliver the line-of-business solutions that can satisfy even the complex legal and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
