ActiveDocs, the confident choice of large companies for document automation success, is celebrating 20 years of partnership with Microsoft.

ActiveDocs participated in the Microsoft Certified Solution Provider program even before the existing program was launched in 2000, with our staff completing relevant accreditation. Soon after the Certified Partner Program was unveiled, ActiveDocs attained the prestigious Gold level, and we take pride in this ongoing Partnership.

Glenn Cameron, ActiveDocs VP for Product Development, has been with the company for over 20 years. His contribution has been fundamental to the successful partnership. Glenn notes: “Since the very beginning, ActiveDocs was a bit of a ‘poster child’ in the Microsoft Partner program. The company owners went on stage with Bill Gates in the early 2000s, and the technology behind the product at the time won the global Microsoft Tech-Ed 2002 Business Productivity Award. It was very exciting.”

ActiveDocs didn’t rest on its laurels. “It’s been quite a journey for us. Throughout the duration of the partnership, the product has been redeveloped from the ground up several times.” Glenn adds: “This was necessary to give our clients a stable and functional platform. This way, they can get the most out of the latest technologies available – most recently focusing on becoming a true universal document engine.” As a result, ActiveDocs confidently maintains its place among Microsoft Partners with Gold Competencies, and as a member of the elite group of Managed Partners.

Looking forward, where does Glenn see the partnership going? “As a Gold Partner, we get exclusive insights into Microsoft’s vision of the future of software, computing, and the IT industry overall. We’re particularly excited about the AI capabilities available to developers these days, together with highly optimized FPGA processing units. While it’s all still a little way in the future, this gives us the potential to evolve alongside these advancements, as they change the paradigm of computing capabilities.”
